The first time when diving come into your mind, you started looking for the dive schools and bargain for the best price. But in this process you missed the important part, “the instructor”.
Praveen is one of the best dive Instructors in India one can find. I did two fun dives with him after my open water course and I can say that there is a huge difference between a normal scuba Instructor and the one who is a pro. Praveen is a knowledgeable and well articulated instructor. I joined his pool diver program in July and completed it with confidence and skills. Highly recommend him. He gives 1:1 personalised coaching catered to your strong and weak areas and helps improve them. He’s patient with his instructions, records your skills and shares detailed analysis post that session with tips to correct or improve them. This is something that you won’t get from typical schools. He also accommodated extra sessions at no additional cost beyond the planned program just to ensure I got all skills right. I had an excellent experience learning snorkeling with Praveen. He is incredibly calm and patient, he keeps on motivating. He provided valuable feedback that helped me improve my techniques and gain confidence. What I appreciated the most was his dedication to preparing us for real open water conditions, making sure we were fully comfortable and ready. Praveen B K is great guide cum coach for any under water sports.
He is calm and composed  which is essential to any  Scuba Guide cum instructor. I met him in Swaraj Dweep diving  tour and enjoyed his company. I had good time under water with him for about 6 dives. I found Praveen on Instagram rather serendipitously. I had been learning swimming for a little while before I met him. During the time I was learning elsewhere, though I was able to overcome my fear of water, I was still quite afraid of deep waters. I spoke to Praveen about this and he said he'd ensure that I'd get rid of this fear in just 2 sessions with him. It was too good to be true ! I went for the first session, by the end of which I was jumping off into 7feet water. To this day, I don't know what magic he did in that one hour session but fear had miraculously disappeared 😅 I also did a try freediving pool session with him soon after and the next thing I knew, I was in the maldives jumping off the boat chasing a whale shark. From being so afraid of deep waters to then jumping into it was only possible because of Praveen.
His calmness and pure confidence in his own abilities to help you overcome your fears is incredible. I have not met another coach like him and after learning from him, there is no need to look elsewhere. I'm very lucky to have come across such a genuine and incredible human with so much love for the water and even more passion to introduce people to the wondeful water world. I had an incredible experience learning snorkeling and starting my journey towards scuba certification with Praveen. He is an outstanding instructor who truly knows how to bring out the best in his students. His patience, expertise, and passion for diving make every lesson enjoyable and informative.

Unfortunately, due to some personal circumstances, I'm unable to continue with my scuba certification at the moment. However, I am confident that with his encouragement and guidance, I'll be back on track soon. He not only teaches the technical skills but also instills confidence and a love for the underwater world.
